Police looking for suspects after north Wichita hit-and-run

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Police say they are investing a hit-and-run that critically injured a 54-year-old man, who is now in stable condition, in north Wichita.
The incident happened at 21st and Parkwood around 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 9.
When officers got to the scene, they found the man conscious and breathing. He was taken to a local hospital.
Police say their investigation revealed that the man was walking across 21st St. to the south when he was hit by a silver KIA Optima with Colorado plate BGGK55 going west. The man would land in eastbound traffic when he was hit by a maroon 2007 Ford Focus with Kansas plate 337RNB.
Both vehicles left and continued traveling in their respective directions. Police said Friday night that the Silver Kia had been located.
