Authorities in southeast Kansas say they are searching for a 39-year-old man in connection to several shootings.

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook Tuesday morning that Aaron Swink should be considered armed and dangerous.

"He is the suspect in several shootings that occurred during the late night and early morning hours today date," the Facebook post says.

The sheriff's office has not said whether anyone was injured in the shootings or where exactly they took place.

Swink was last seen in southeast Pittsburg entering the woods off of South Rouse Street. The sheriff's office said residents should expect to see a large law enforcement presence in the area.

Kansas Department of Corrections records shows Swink is on parole for convictions of aggravated battery and kidnapping. He's listed as an absconder as of Monday.
