GARDEN CITY, Kan. (KAKE) - Multiple downed power lines have caused KDOT to close U.S. 50 between Holcomb and Garden City.

The Kansas Department of Transportation said both lanes of U.S. 50 will be closed between Holcomb and Garden City from Monday the 27th to Tuesday the 28th after multiple power lines were damaged from high winds. Traffic will be diverted on Old U.S. 50 to Anderson Rd. 

It is unknown when the highway will reopen at this time.
