WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A 63-year-old Wichita man has been sentenced to life in prison for sexually abusing two young girls. 

The Sedgwick County district attorney's office said District Judge Bruce Brown sentenced Anthony Raya to two life terms on Friday. He will be eligible for parole after 25 years. 

According to a release from the DA's office, Raya pleaded guilty on December 23, 2022 to two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. He admitted his contact with two girls under the age of 10. 

Records show the offense took place on August 31, 2021, and Raya has been in jail since his arrest on December 20, 2021.
