WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police have arrested two men and woman accused of sex crimes and providing alcohol to a minor.

Ry Denny, 24, and Ryan Summers, 23, were booked Monday evening and made their first court appearances Tuesday afternoon. Denny is charged with rape of a mentally deficient victim, aggravated criminal sodomy, battery and furnishing alcohol to a minor. Summers is charged with rape of a mentally deficient victim, aggravated sexual battery and furnishing alcohol to a minor. 

Bonds were set at $100,000 each, and the suspects are due in court for preliminary hearings on February 13. 

20-year-old Makaela Denny was charged with:

  • Aggravated criminal sodomy.
  • Aggravated sexual battery.
  • Furnishing alcohol to a minor. 

Her bond was set at $100,000 and her next court appearance is set for Feb. 13. 

According to charging documents, the incident happened in mid-October. Ry, Denny and Summers are accused of engaging in sexual intercourse and other sexual activity with a victim who was incapable of giving consent because of the effect of alcohol, which was allegedly provided by the suspect. The victim's exact age wasn't provided, but the document says "16 or more years of age."

KAKE News has requested probable cause affidavits for the case and is currently awaiting those documents. 

In all cases, those who are arrested are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
