WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Police are searching for three suspects after a west Wichita long-term care home was robbed.

The Wichita Police Department said that shortly before 5 a.m. Wednesday they responded to a reported robbery at Reflection Living at 625 South Maize Ct., which is between Maple and Kellogg.

A 27-year-old employee told officers that she went to answer a knock on the front door. When she opened the door, three people dressed in black scrubs forced their way in. Two of them tied up the employee.

The suspects then stole medication and fled in a silver hatchback or small SUV. Police said one of the suspects was armed with a handgun. They were last seen heading south on Maize Road.

"The suspects were described as a light-complected African-American male, a white male, and a 20 to 30-year-old Hispanic female," WPD said in a release.

The investigation is ongoing and no injuries have been reported.
