NEODESHA, Kan. (KAKE) - A former band director in Neodesha, Kansas, has been arrested and charged with 20 counts of child sex crimes.

KOAM reports that 28-year-old Quinton Ross Bockhold has been charged with:

  • 19 counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
  • One count of possession of media of a child less than 18 years old.
  • One count of electronic solicitation of a child.

Authorities accuse Bockhold of electronically communicating with a person he believed to be a minor child "to perform an unlawful sexual act..." Bockhold allegedly had several visual depictions of the victim.

According to court documents, the alleged crimes took place on or between April 10, 2022, and April 15, 2022. The Neodesha Police Department investigated the case.

The investigation is ongoing.
