WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A former Sedgwick County detention deputy has been sentenced to probation after he pleaded guilty to sexual relations with women inmates.
Timothy Baskerville was arrested in 2020 after he was accused of fondling and kissing two inmates. He pleaded guilty to interference with law enforcement and sexual battery.
Officials said at the time the incidents occurred from April 23 to June 1 of 2020. An inmate reported the incident on June 25 and Baskerville was immediately placed on leave.
If Baskerville violates his parole he could spend three years in prison.
Baskerville was suspended at the time of his arrest. A Sedgwick County Sheriffs spokesperson said Baskerville is not currently employed with the department.
