KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KAKE) - Seven-time All-Star Aroldis Chapman is headed to Kansas City.

MLB.com reports that Chapman and the Royals agreed to terms on a one-year, $3.75 million contract.

The left-handed reliever posted a 4-4 record with 9 saves, a 4.46 ERA, and a 1.43 WHIP in 43 relief appearances with the Yankees last season. 

The Royals are coming off of a 97-loss season.
