Police identify woman killed while crossing street in southeast Wichita
WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police have identified a 62-year-old woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing a street on the city's southeast side.
The incident happened at Harry and Faulders Lane, east of Edgemoor, just after 8 p.m. Wednesday. Officers arrived to find Mary Dellor unconscious and not breathing. EMS pronounced her dead at the scene.
A police spokesperson said Mary was crossing Harry from north to south when she was hit by a eastbound Kia Soul driven by a 65-year-old man.
