Kansas City Chiefs superfan arrested for bank robbery in Oklahoma

TULSA, Okla. (KAKE) — A Kansas City Chiefs superfan is behind bars after police in suburban Tulsa, Oklahoma arrested him for bank robbery.
Bixby officers responded at around 9:30 a.m. on December 16 to an armed robbery call at a Tulsa Teachers Credit Union branch.
KTUL reports witnesses called police and gave them a suspect description. Officers set up a perimeter in a nearby neighborhood where they were able to capture the suspect, who was attempting to escape with a weapon and large amount of cash.
“The quick and decisive action of the witness permitted Bixby Police Officers to respond in less than two minutes and have the suspect in custody within six minutes," Bixby Police Chief Todd Blish said. "We are so very appreciative of the witness, the bank employees, and the officers that responded to capture this person. I am especially proud of our officers who were able to respond quickly and set up a perimeter and make the arrest."
The suspect was later identified as Xaviar Babudar. He's known to thousands as the ChiefsAholic, a Kansas City superfan who reportedly hasn't missed a game in years. Recognized by dressing as a wolf, Babudar has a large social media presence and routinely takes pictures with fans at Chiefs games.
Fans noticed when Babudar seemed absent from the Chiefs-Texans game on December 18, according to KTUL.
Babudar remains jailed in Tulsa County on $200,000 bond for robbery with a firearm, assault while masked or disguised, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony and threatening an act of violence.
He has pleaded not guilty and is next due in court on January 20.
