Wichita police identify man killed in Kellogg crash
WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police have identified a 27-year-old man who was killed when he lost control of his pickup truck and crashed Saturday evening.
The accident happened at around 8:15 p.m. on westbound Kellogg just west of Interstate 135. Officers arrived to find Chandler Christiansen, of Wichita, unconscious and unresponsive. He died at the scene.
Police spokesperson Chad Ditch said Christiansen had been traveling westbound on Kellogg when he lost control of his GMC Sierra. His pickup struck two trees, and Christiansen was ejected.
The roadway was wet at the time of the accident. There were no other injuries and no other vehicles were involved.
