Wichita volleyball coach sentenced to more than 10 years in jail for child sex crimes
WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Jeffrey Sanders has been sentenced to 122 months in prison after being found guilty of sexual exploitation of a child and intimidation of a witness.
Sanders, a 44-year-old, owned the Wichita Volleyball Academy where he coached hundreds of girls every year. He also offered private volleyball lessons and was a former assistant coach at Wichita State University.
The victim, in this case, was 16 years old at the time of the crime.
