Police identify man hit, killed by car in south Wichita
WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Police say a 45-year-old Wichita man died Tuesday night when he was hit by a car on the city's south side.
The accident happened shortly before 8 p.m. at Seneca and Haskell, which is just north of Pawnee. WPD spokesperson Juan Rebolledo said Kristopher Lacy was crossing Seneca from east to west when he was struck by a northbound Nissan Altima.
Lacy was pronounced dead at the scene. His death was Wichita's 34th fatal collision and 37th traffic fatality of the year.
Police continue to investigate the accident.
