-year-old boy who went viral for his custom French fries costume that fits over his wheelchair will get free McDonald's fries for a year.

WSYX reports McDonald's threw a Halloween party for Blake Mompher and his family on Sunday. During the party, Blake was presented with a certificate for free fries for a year and a video from Ronald McDonald telling Blake how much he loved his costume.

Blake was born with spina bifida and has faced medical challenges requiring long stays in the hospital.

According to the ABC News affiliate in Columbus, finding Halloween costumes for Blake can be a bit of a challenge, and it has become a family tradition to come up with something creative.

Blake's school bus costume went viral four years ago, and two years after that his Kraft mac & cheese costume was a hit. Kraft even sent him and his family a year's supply of mac & cheese. Last year's costume was a member of the WSYX weather team.

Blake's French fries costume was made by his dad.
