MANHATTAN, Kan. (KAKE) - Kansas State University is offering two sessions of its Health Professions Exploration Program this July for high school juniors and seniors interested in the health care industry.

The program allows students to explore the different career paths in health care. They will meet K-State alumni currently enrolled in professional schools or working as health care professionals, K-State faculty with expertise in human health areas, K-State health professions advisors and current K-State students pursuing a career as health care professionals.

Each five day session will let students explore career paths that focus on health care from food safety to disease research and much more. Students will learn through hands-on experience working together to explore different areas of the health care industry and learn how to work together to provide better care.
