LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAKE) - Video shows a suspect's backpack burst into flames when he's tased by an Arkansas State trooper following a motorcycle chase earlier this month.

40/29 News reports 38-year-old Christopher Gaylor was hospitalized after the October 13 incident and expected to be OK. The backpack he was carrying had a gallon of gasoline in it, which started the fire.

An Arkansas trooper tried to stop Gaylor early that morning for no license plate. Authorities say he refused to stop, traveling at speeds up to 100 mph.

The chase eventually ended when Gaylor jumped off his motorcycle and ran. One trooper tried using their Taser to apprehend him, and that’s when Gaylor’s backpack burst into flames.

Gaylor faces charges of felony fleeing, failure to register a vehicle, no liability insurance, driving with a suspended license and reckless driving.

The local ABC affiliate reports the troopers involved are not facing disciplinary actions.
