LANGLEY, Kan. (KAKE) - Nine people, including three children and four teenagers, were taken to hospitals following a crash in Ellsworth County on Sunday.

The accident happened at around 12:15 p.m. at the junction of K-141 and K-4 in southeastern Ellsworth County. The Kansas Highway Patrol says a southbound Infinity failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into a GMC pickup.

All six people in the Infinity were taken to area hospitals. The 34-year-old woman who was driving and a 30-year-old male passenger had serious injuries. An 11-year-old girl and 6-year-old girl had minor injuries and a 14-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy had no apparent injuries. 

Three 15-year-old boys in the pickup were taken to hospitals in Salina and McPherson. Two had serious injuries and the third had minor injuries.
