WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police say a 61-year-old man was killed when an SUV collided with his motorcycle on the city's south side.
The accident happened shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday at South Hydraulic and Marion, which is just south of Pawnee. Wichita Police Department spokesperson Trevor Macy said Roger Wilcoxen was heading south on Hydraulic when he collided with an Infinity SUV that was making a left turn from Marion onto Hydraulic.
Wilcoxen, of Winfield, was ejected from his motorcycle and died at the scene. The 26-year-old woman driving the SUV was not hurt.
Officer Macy said it was the 29th fatal collision and 32nd fatality in Wichita this year.
