MISSING IN KANSAS: Lamyah Shaffer, 14, still missing
A mom is asking for the community’s help with finding her 13-year-old daughter. There is concern for her mental health.
Lamyah Shaffer was last seen around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20., 2022, near Central and Ridge in Wichita, her mother, Whitney Davis shares.
Lamyah suffers with mental health issues, including bipolar depression and oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), her mom said. She was having an episode when her mom last saw her Tuesday, her mom explains. She also lives with learning disability.
“Don’t judge my baby please,” her mom shares in a post online. “I’ll stand by here for the rest of her life and be with her. But I need to get her to safety to help her.”
Lamyah’s 14th birthday is Monday. The teenager was last seeing wearing a Jaws shirt with a shark on it, light blue sweats and multi-colored crocs with Jibbitz charms on them.
If you see her, call police to report that tip.
