EL DORADO, Kan. (KAKE) - El Dorado police say they have arrested a 38-year-old registered sex offender for child sex crimes after executing a search warrant at his home.

The department said Thomas Pennycuff was booked for aggravated internet trading of child pornography and child exploitation.

The search warrant was executed Tuesday. Police said it followed a cyber tip received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alleging the sexual exploitation of children through electronic devices.

"The El Dorado Police Department is dedicated to investigating these crimes to aid in the protection of children in our community," the department said on Facebook.
