WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - "It's exciting for sure. I think it'll bring a lot of fun times over here and everything," said Kinley Swenson.

The view from Swenson's apartment near Greenwich and K96 is much different than it used to be. Giant poles now tower over her at what will soon be Wichita's first ever Topgolf.

But for her, it's a sight for sore eyes.

"We don't really have any fun attractions like this. So it's something new. People don't have to travel so far to do something fun," said Swenson.

This is what it will look like. It will have a one-story interactive driving range, a bar and grill with a 22-foot video wall and 100+ TVs, and even 9-hole minigolf.

And construction is moving fast. Take a look at how much progress there's been just since June.

A Topgolf spokesperson says while they don't have an exact date yet, what was originally supposed to be a 2023 opening should now be well within this year.

Swenson says she'll be one of the first to check it out when it opens, but knowing it's a place people have such a good time, she has just one concern about living so close to it.

"We'll see what the noise and the lights and stuff, how that affects living here at night and everything," said Swenson.
