Woman convicted of murder in man's death at Kansas mobile home
McPHERSON, Kan. (KAKE) - A 35-year-old Kansas woman has been convicted of murder in connection to the death of a man whose body was found in a mobile home in 2020.
Attorney General Derek Schmidt said Tina Nicole Brown entered a no-contest plea to charges of second-degree reckless murder and battery on a law enforcement officer. Sentencing is scheduled for November 1.
The body of 63-year-old Kelly Peterson was found in his mobile home in February 2020. The case was investigated by McPherson police and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
Authorities have not said exactly how Peterson died.
