SEMINOLE, Okla. (KAKE) - Authorities in Oklahoma have arrested two people after a toddler's burned remains were found Wednesday.

KOCO reports 32-year-old Chad Jennings was being held without bond for first-degree murder and child abuse. His girlfriend, 31-year-old Katherine Penner, is facing charges of accessory to murder and desecration of a human corpse.

Seminole police received a tip late Tuesday night that brought them to the area where the child's body was found off Highway 99.

Investigators later went to a home where Jennings and Penner were arrested.

The toddler's name and cause of death were not released.
