GARDEN CITY, Kan. (KAKE) - The Garden City and Finney County joint Drug Task Force served a search warrant at 2002 St. John Street as part of an ongoing
investigation. This happened on Tuesday, June 21. 

The say that once they were inside the home, they seized the following:

  • 620 suspected fentanyl pills.
  • 9.2 grams of heroin.
  • 8.7 grams of methamphetamine.
  • One firearm.
  • Scales and items indicative of the distribution and consumption of illegal narcotics.
  • Counterfeit money.

One man, 31-year-old Steven Rosas of Garden City, was taken into custody. He was then lodged in Finney County Jail.

Rosas was charged with the following:

  • Distribution of Fentanyl.
  • Distribution of Methamphetamine.
  • Distribution of Heroin.
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • Counterfeiting Currency.
