LINN COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - An eastern Kansas firefighter has died two days after he was injured on the job.
The Lynn County News reports says Josh Haynes died Wednesday. He was injured Monday while fighting a fire at Carpenter Chiropractic in Pleasanton.
Haynes was being treated at KU Medical Center when he died.
Haynes began his career as a volunteer firefighter at the age of 18 and gave 17-plus years to Pleasanton and the surrounding communities.
