OKLAHOMA CITY (KAKE) - Police in Oklahoma City have arrested a 60-year-old woman after her 3-year-old granddaughter's body was found in a trash receptacle on Tuesday.

The department said officers responded that afternoon to a "trouble unknown" call at a home on the city' south side. When they arrived, officers were told there was a dead child at the home.

"Officers found the body of three-year-old Riley Nolan in a residential trash receptacle at the home," OKC police said on Facebook. "The child had obvious signs of trauma to her body."

Riley had been in the custody of her grandmother, Becky Vreeland. She was booked into the Cleveland County Jail for first-degree murder and child neglect, jail records show. She was being held without bond.
