WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Matt Wallner might not be in Wichita too much longer but he's taking advantage of his time on the Wind Surge. The power hitting outfielder launched two more home runs and went 3-5 with four RBI to help Wichita take down the San Antonio Missions 9-2 to start the week.

Wallner now has 15 home runs on the year and 47 RBI with a .973 OPS. Cole Sturgeon also homered for the Surge and had three RBI, Edouard Julien added two RBI as well.

The Wind Surge started this homestand after going 3-10 on the road over the last two weeks and losing their grasp of first place in the first half of the split season.

They're 3.5 games back of the Tulsa Drillers with five games to play before the records are reset.
