MISSING IN KANSAS: Runaway 12-year-old Wichita boy found safe
Wichita police say a 12-year-old boy who was reported missing on Wednesday has been found safe.
The department posted the update on social media, but the update didn't say where he was found. He'd last been seen northeast of 21st Street North and Oliver. Police thanked those who shared.
The Wichita Police Department is asking for the community’s help with finding a runaway child Wednesday night.
Andrew Acebedo, 12, ran away from home and was last seen around 3:40 p.m. in the 5400 block of E. Arlene – northeast of 21st and Oliver.
He was last seen wearing gray shorts and a black long-sleeve Calvin Klein shirt.
If you see Andrew or you know where he is, the Wichita Police Department urges you to call 911.
