2 men arrested for possession of narcotics in south Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – The Wichita Police Department arrested two men after a traffic stop in south Wichita.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2700 block of S. Seneca for a traffic violation.
During the stop, officers recovered illegal and dangerous narcotics, a handgun, and a large amount of cash.
Police arrested 23-year-old Donnell James and 29-year-old Qortevias Patterson, both for possession of narcotics with intent to distribute.
James was also arrested in connection to a child sex trafficking ring in 2018.
On Friday neither James or Patterson appeared on the Sedgwick County Jail inmate search.
