WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – The Wichita Police Department has identified the 9-year-old boy who was fatally injured in a crash on Kellogg over the weekend.

At approximately 10:15 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to an injury accident call on eastbound Kellogg at Seneca involving three vehicles. Upon their arrival, they located a Ford Focus driven by a 27-year-old male with non-life-threatening injuries and a 9-year-old boy who was ejected from the Focus and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have identified the 9-year-old as Armani Saucedo of Wichita.

An investigation revealed the 2007 white Ford Focus was eastbound on Kellogg and side-swiped a 2017 red Ford F-150, causing it to collide with a 2004 maroon Dodge Ram. The driver of the Focus lost control of the vehicle and struck the bridge abutment. The Dodge Ram was driven by a 24-year-old male and the Ford F-150 was driven by a 21-year-old male. Both were not injured.
