SALINA, Kan. (KAKE) - Salina police say they have arrested three people on drug charges following a monthslong investigation. 

Capt. Paul Forrester said the department's I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force served seven narcotics-related search warrants throughout Salina on Wednesday. Forrester said the KBI and KHP SWAT teams assisted in serving the warrants, which "were all found to be intertwined in this drug investigation."

Officers found about an ounce of meth, and ounce of cocaine, a handgun and over $15,000 in cash. 

Police arrested 41-year-old Anthony Adams, 45-year-old Angie Allison and 36-year-old Reginald Benoit Sr. for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine possession of methamphetamine. Adams also faces a charge of possession of drug proceeds. 

Forrester said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are anticipated.
