The Wichita Police Department is looking for a 13-year-old teenager who ran away from home. Melanie Davidson was reported missing on Nov. 6, 2021.  Melanie may identify as male and sometimes interchanges the use of their name Melanie with Max.

Height: 5’6’’


Weight: About 150 pounds


Hair: Blonde


Eyes: Blue

Wichita police say Melanie Davidson has been found safe.


Wichita police are asking for the public's help in locating 13-year-old Melanie Davidson.

According to police, Davidson is a runaway and was last seen around 8 p.m. Wednesday in the area of 1700 South Seneca.

She is described as being 5'6" tall, and weighs 200 pounds. She was last seen wearing a brown/yellow/white shirt and black jeans, with black boots and a black bag. She is believed to be with another runaway, 15-year-old Marcheta Miller.

Anyone with information on either girl is asked to call 911 immediately.
