(KAKE) - The Wichita Police Department (WPD) has arrested 22-year-old Dontenize Kelly of Wichita for capital murder and an outstanding warrant stemming from the investigation into the deaths of 17-year-old Michael Beasley and 18-year-old Kaylah Blackmon.

Beasley was found dead on Monday. Blackmon was found deceased on Thursday.

Through the investigation of their deaths, Kelly was determined to be involved. He was arrested without incident on Friday night.

The investigation is ongoing, and the case will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's Office. Additionally, Kelly has been previously convicted of a felony charge.
