All school supplies and monetary donations will be equally split among Salvation Army and Project Teacher. Both organizations serve local teachers and students.

School Supply Landslide began in 1996 as a response to concerns expressed by area educators and parents about children coming to school without the supplies they need. In 2019 $1,352 was donated along with thousands of school supplies.

Project Teacher operates a resource center for teachers to come and receive school supplies for free. In 2018, the supplies Project Teacher received was enough for 182 classrooms to receive core supplies (so roughly 3600 students). The funds were used to secure and pay for the freight from a national donation which meant that nearly $150,000 in ADDITIONAL supplies were brought into our resource center to be distributed throughout the school year.

Project Teacher's registration for teacher shopping opens in August. Teachers can register online herebeginning in August. Teacher shopping will being later in August when schools are back in session.
