KAKE, In the Bag Cleaners and Jiffy Lube Multicare are doing a coat and warm clothing drive for The Salvation Army

KAKE’s Coats for a Cause returns January 2023 in hopes of collecting boxes full of winter clothing, both new and gently used, to benefit The Salvation Army and Kansans in need. Formerly known as “Warm Hearts,” Coats for a Cause has been an initiative of KAKE’s for decades, serving thousands of families throughout the state each year.

“The community has been so responsive to KAKE’s request for coats and In the Bag has been wonderful about getting the coats cleaned and ready for our distribution,” says Craig Davis of The Salvation Army. “Without Coats for a Cause, it may otherwise be difficult for families we serve to obtain coats and other warm items due to limited income.”

To help KAKE and The Salvation Army collect Coats for a Cause, drop off your donations at any In-The-Bag Cleaners or Jiffy Lube Multicare location from January 3rd through February 20th. Let’s work together as a community to help Kansans in need.
