
An EF-3 tore through parts of Sedgwick and Butler counties on April 29, causing extensive damage in the town of Andover. Here are some resources for those affected and those who want to help:

If you need to find a shelter, visit redcross.org/shelter, download the free Red Cross Emergency App or call 1-800-REDCROSS (1-800-733-2767). The Emergency App is available in app stores by searching for the American Red Cross or going to redcross.org/apps.
The United Way of the Plains has set up a disaster relief fund where you can donate to those displaced or otherwise affected by Friday’s tornado in Andover. (316) 267-1321, or 2-1-1. Additionally, you can text your zip code to 898-211 and you will be connected with people in your immediate area that can help you.
