TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Kansas Family Partnership and the Red Ribbon state planning committee honored outstanding Red Ribbon Campaign efforts in Topeka Friday.

Gov. Sam Brownback was on hand for the 12th annual Red Ribbon recognition luncheon at Stormont-Vail HealthCare's Pozez Education Center.

Among those honored were Margi Grimwood, for outstanding dedication to the Kansas Red Ribbon campaign. Stormont-Vail HealthCare was given the H.E.R.O. award. HERO stands for "honoring the enrichment of red ribbon opportunities."

Several schools from around the state were honored for projects they implemented to promote the week's message of leading drug-free lives.

This was such a great luncheon for the community and students-is there anyway you could show the video you have taken for the news so we can share with those honored at the awards ceremony? The video above says it's unavailable. Thanks so much!
