(WIBW) - Congressmen Jerry Moran and Todd Tiahrt are locked in a contentious campaign for a U.S. Senate seat.

While they run ads and issue news releases, both Tiahrt and Moran recently took time to sit down with 13 News for individual, one-on-one conversations about the issues.

Each shared his thoughts on the economy, repealing all or some of the health care reform bill, his record on tax cuts and attention to social issues, among other things.

The Republican Congressmen are vying for the seat being vacated by Sam Brownback, who is running for Kansas Governor. Tom Little and Bob Londerholm also are on the ballot.

The complete interviews are attached.
