Topeka (WIBW) - Topeka's police chief is waiting for information so he can wrap up an internal investigation into a shooting involving four officers.

Ron Miller gave an update Wednesday on the review involving officers Jason Judd, Laura Bonebrake, Chris Bowers and Travis Jepson.

They were off-duty March 18th, 2008, when a confrontation led to a shooting that injured brothers Daniel and Devin Llamas.

Miller says he is waiting for results of lab tests on evidence. He's also sent letters to attorney's, asking their clients to cooperate, but hasn't heard back.

He says once he has that information, he'll be able to wrap up the investigation.

Jason Judd was the only officer to face criminal charges in the case. Those charges were later dropped.

All four remain on administrative duty pending the outcome of the internal review.
