Topeka (WIBW) - Randel Ministries and the Family of God Church teamed up again to give away another truckload of food.

People started lining up in North Topeka long before the giveaway started at 11 am Monday. When it was over, the church had handed out more than 18,000 pounds of food to people in need.

Since they've started the giveaways, organizers say they've distributed more than 150,000 pounds of food and helped more than 12,000 people in more than 3500 homes.

The giveaways will continue. The church has tentatively scheduled two next month. The first is on December 7th.
