A preliminary hearing date is set for a Topeka police officer involved in an off-duty shooting incident last March.

Jason Judd will be in court December 11th. The hearing will determine whether there is enough evidence for him to stand trial. He faces two counts of intentional aggravated battery, one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of criminal trespass.

The charges stem from the shootings of brothers Daniel and Devin Llamas at a southwest Topeka home in the early morning hours of March 18, 2008. Three other TPD officers were involved in the shooting but are not charged.

I hope they send him away for a very long time and FINALLY take him off the City payroll. He should have been taken off the payroll a long time ago.
