They'll strike up the band to drum up support for a Topeka clinic that helps people who can't afford medical care.

The annual "Ultimate Concert" to benefit Marian Clinic takes place Sunday, Sept. 7. This year's event features the Fountain City Brass Band.

Marian Clinic hopes to raise $25,000 to support its mission. The clinic provides medical and dental care to people who couldn't otherwise afford it. Last year, they served 5000 patients.

Doors open for the Ultimate Concert at 2:15 pm Sunday at Washburn University's White Concert Hall. The concert begins at 3 pm. There is no admission charge, but donations will be accepted.
