TOPEKA, Kan. - The Topeka Police Department graduated 14 police officers from its 42nd Recruit Class on Friday, September 5.

The ceremony was held at Hills Festival Hall, Topeka Performing Arts Center.

The graduates are: Jake Cobler, Joseph Collins, Gene Dixon, Jason Dunderdale, Brandon Gogian, Mark Hershberger, Justin Mackey, Shane McCoy, Melissa Miller, Robert Sachs, Jeffrey Sloan, Trent Stanley and Brandon Uhlrig. Additionally, the National Guard Facilities Police Department also participated in this recruit class and Casey Gile will also graduate.
