FORT RILEY, Kan. (AP) _ A senior Army officer at Fort Riley oversaw a review of the 1st Infantry Division and officiated a change of command Thursday.

General Charles Campbell is head of the Army's Forces Command. He presided over a ceremony Thursday as Major General Robert Durbin relinquished command of the division and Fort Riley.

Brigadier General Perry Wiggins will assume control of the division until a permanent replacement is named.

Durbin has been nominated for his third star and to the post of special assistant to the Army chief of staff for enterprise management in Washington. He took command of the division on July 31, 2007.
