TOPEKA, Kan. - The City of Topeka is looking for a company to manage Cypress Ridge Golf Course.

Terry Bertels, the City's interim parks and recreation director, says city leaders want to turn over the course to a private company. That update came at Tuesday's city council meeting.

The city will accept proposals from companies interested in managing the course.

Bertels says they are hoping to accept a proposal where the city would own the course but the management company would assume any losses or profits.
