OSAGE COUNTY, Kan. - A man is in custody after leading troopers on a highway chase Wednesday night.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the man was erratically driving a Ford Explorer northbound on Highway 75 in Osage County before 7 p.m. Wednesday, running cars off the road.

A trooper attempted to pull the man over just north of Lyndon, but the subject wouldn't stop his vehicle.

The driver exited at Topeka Boulevard and hit a truck just south of 77th street. No one was hurt.

Troopers and Shawnee County Sheriff's deputies put out stop sticks to flatten the car's tires at 77th and South Topeka Boulevard.

The front two tires of the Explorer were flattened and the man got out of the vehicle. He was then taken into custody to be escorted by police back to Osage County where he was booked into jail.

Troopers say drugs and/or alcohol may have been a factor in the incident. They are investigating.

Were there injuries to the innocent people in the other vehicle? I think you should reasd the article again. The driver exited at Topeka Boulevard and hit a truck just south of 77th street. No one was hurt
