Marcus Vaughn, 34, of Topeka, was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison for his connection in a drug conspiracy.

Members of a drug conspiracy that distributed hundreds of pounds of cocaine in Kansas City, Kan. will spend the next few years in jail.

Andre Riggans, of Kansas City, Kan., received the shortest sentence for her connection to the drug ring Wednesday, at 5 years and three months.

Tina Johnson, of Overland Park, was sentenced to seven years. And Marcus Vaughn, of Topeka, sentenced to 10 years in jail.

U.S. Attorney Eric Melgren said the three distributed more than 330 pounds of cocaine.

In their pleas, all three admitted taking part in a drug trafficking conspiracy headed by co-defendant Savino Davila that operated from 2000 through 2006 in Kansas City, Kan.

Marcus Vaughn was not part of a drug ring at all. He was brought into this case because of his brother, Terrance Vaughn who was also sentenced and not exploited on WIBW.

Such ridiculously light sentences for dangerous drug dealers exploiting the misery of thousands of junkies are the reason the war on drugs will have to continue for years and years and years, as drug dealers like this are soon turned loose to continue their treachery against America.
