Anthony Hall

A | A | A

The brother of a man accused in the brutal killing of a Topeka teenager struck a deal in Shawnee County District Court Monday.

Anthony Hall pleaded guilty to charges of attempted second degree murder, attempted rape and aiding a felon. Shawnee County District Attorney Robert Hecht told 13 News the attempted murder charge stems from the beating of a man and a woman in December 2006; the attempted rape charge involves an incident with a 26-year old woman in an apartment complex laundry room; and the aiding a felon charge has to do with the murder of Nacole Winter.

The 15-year old's partially burned body was found near Lake Shawnee in Secember 2006. Anthony Hall's brother Christopher is accused of killing Winter.

As part of his plea agreement, Anthony Hall will testify against Christopher Hall in the Winter homicide. Christopher Hall has been undergoing a psychiatric evaluation at Larned State Hospital. His case is set for a docket hearing June 19th.

I work at the psychiatric security hospital where he is currently being evaluated. Although I cannot give info about him due to confidentialy laws, I would like to say that after being around him everyday, he is a sick man and seems to not have a care in the world, he deserves everything he gets. I would like to see him be sent to death row.

Anonymous, I think her friends are upset and trying to find answers. I'm sure her parents are already beating themselves up over what they could have done differently. Bless them all, friends and families. And I'm so glad justice may finally come. And lynching is an inappropriate term anonymous. You just chided a child for her comments and you are bringing up a term that causes lots of horror in the black community. shame on you.

First to Chelsea, stop blaming her parents because the mom "hit her." That has NOTHING to do with her murder. Now about the Hall's...does the word "lynching" mean anything? How about an eye for an eye. One of the Ten Commandments that God set out for us to live by is "Thou Shalt Not Kill." When they meet their maker, they will be judged accordingly. Until then...

Nicole was a sweetheart who had her life taken away buy those men. Her family and friends didnt deserve to have her taken away from them. Christopher Hall and Anthony deserve the death penalty. If Nicole cant be here, then they dont deserve to be here either. To Nicole and her family, you have been in my prayers since the day i found out she was missing. And i hope that they never forget that inocent face whose life they took with no hesitation.

I would like to ask Chris and his 2 brothers "Why did you do this?" You had no right to take another human life. And as far as I am concerned what ever happens to you will never be enough. I just thank God everyday that my daughter and grandsons were not hurt. None of you relize how many lifes you destroyed. That was a home to my family and you did the unthinkable in it. You are worse than animals and may God have mercy on your souls, because I know I dont.

If he was there and helped in anyway he is guilty and should have the max. penalty. He is not innocent of anything.

For all of you who think they knew Chris Hall, I thought I did to. He was engaged at the time he did this and I seen the apartment where Nicole was murdered. I also had the law tell me that his brothers told them that if my daughter had walked into the apartment a couple of mins. earlier her and my grandsons would of been dead also. I hope Chris and his brothers who were there when it happen also get what they deserve. He was fine at Thanksgiving. Nothing was wrong with him. Believe me he was with us. Right now he has the system and alot of people fooled.
