Midland Care Hospice held its 12th Annual "Celebration Walk" on the hospice grounds Friday, May 9.

Participants took steps to raise funds for Midland while celebrating the lives of family and friends with an evening walk.

"We really rely on this and it's been such a community event," said Midland Care CEO, Karren Weichert. "It's a wonderful time for people to come out and celebrate life and remember those people who have been important to them in their lives."

Midland care serves 20 Kansas counties, offering care to all patients regardless of inability to pay.
